    A challenging but beautiful stretch awaits as you pass through the Dee Estuary’s marshlands before reaching the lively resort town of Prestatyn. This section provides some of the best views of the estuary and distant Welsh hills.

  • Day 3: Prestatyn (L) to Colwyn Bay – 14.5 miles (23.5 km)
    Leaving the sandy beaches behind, the trail meanders past seaside promenades and coastal villages. You’ll cross the headlands towards Colwyn Bay, known for its Victorian pier and long beachfront.

  • Day 4: Colwyn Bay to Conwy – 15 miles (24 km)
    A fascinating day as you approach the historic town of Conwy. The highlight is the iconic Conwy Castle and the medieval town walls, offering stunning views of the Snowdonia Mountains.
